Michael Meng Fellowship for Healthcare Business Innovation

The pandemic revealed the need to strengthen the relationship between public health and health business in promoting the safety and well-being of society.

Public health professionals are underrepresented in the sectors of health business and the Fellowship offers an opportunity for students to apply their education in dynamic and innovative ways

Our faculty approach these aims by providing leadership and expertise in support of healthcare system innovation, conducting analyses of the policies and economic realities underpinning healthcare systems, and engaging in political advocacy.

Envisioned and funded by Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stellar Health, Michael Meng, the Fellowship for Healthcare Business Innovation will enroll 10 Health Policy and Management students into an intensive four semester extra-curricular program to build their expertise and knowledge in health business. Fellows will learn directly from respected business executives and leaders, receive premier access to professional development at the Career Skills Academy and experience hands-on training in public health entrepreneurship at Firefly Innovations.
